The Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C) is the main initiative for cyber capacity building to share knowledge on cybersecurity, the fight against cybercrime, and cyberdiplomacy. We provide the expertise and resources necessary to address the region's growing cybersecurity challenges. As a regional hub, WB3C collaborates closely with relevant institutions across the Western Balkans through national coordinators in each country, ensuring that our programmes align with national needs, priorities and capacities.
Our tailored, hands-on programs promote cross-departmental cooperation both within and across countries in the region, enhancing the coordination and effectiveness of various government branches in addressing cyber threats as a unified team.
The WB3C training hub is equipped with cutting-edge learning technology, offering three computer classrooms and a conference room. These state-of-the-art facilities are housed in the newly opened Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, a hub for innovation-driven companies and organisations.
In addition to becoming a hub for cyber capacity building in the Western Balkans, the WB3C serves as a meeting point for policymakers and government officials responsible for cybersecurity affairs in the region, and peers from EU partner institutions and organisations that support region's security. The Centre also contributes to the European rapprochement of the countries of the Western Balkans.
